Offcuts · Remnant slabs · Bayswater, Melbourne

Stone benchtop offcuts and remnants, Melbourne.

Every job leaves stone behind: marble, granite, quartzite, travertine, porcelain and sintered stone left over once the benchtops are cut. We sell those offcuts to homeowners and the trade, cut and polished to your size, and we can install them for you.

— The process

How an offcut job goes

Four steps, shown on a real job: choose the piece, see it in 3D, cut it to size, fit it.

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Choose the offcut

Come to Bayswater or email the size you need, and we show you what we have. Your piece is laid out on a photo of the actual offcut, so you see the veins you get.

  2. Step 2 of 4

    See it in 3D

The finished top in 3D, with its edges and cutouts, before anything is cut.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Cut to size

Cut on the bridge saw to your size, the sink and tap holes cut in, the edges polished.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Installed or collected

Our team fits it, or you collect it from our Bayswater workshop.

— Offcut questions

Offcuts, answered.

What people ask before they come in for a piece of stone.

01

Do you sell stone offcuts to the public?

Yes. Homeowners and the trade can buy offcuts and remnant slabs from our Bayswater workshop.

02

Where can I find stone benchtop offcuts near me?

Our workshop is in Bayswater, in Melbourne's east, close to Ringwood, Boronia, Wantirna, Knoxfield and Ferntree Gully. The offcuts from our jobs are kept here: collect a piece, or have us cut and install it.

03

What stone do you have?

It changes with every job: marble, granite, quartzite, travertine, porcelain, sintered stone and zero-silica reconstituted stone left over once the benchtops are cut. Email the size you need and we will tell you what fits.

04

Can an offcut do a splashback or a kitchen benchtop?

Yes, sized to the offcuts we have in the same stone. A single benchtop, a small kitchen or a bar top can come from one or two offcuts, and a tall enough piece runs a splashback without a join.

05

Can you cut an offcut to size?

Yes. We cut it on the bridge saw to your size, polish the edges, and cut the sink and tap holes.

06

Can you install it?

Yes. Our team fits the job: vanity tops, laundry benches, splashbacks, shelves, sills and hearths.

07

Do you sell Caesarstone or engineered stone offcuts?

We sell zero-silica reconstituted stone, and its offcuts when we have them. Not engineered stone that contains crystalline silica: its supply has been banned in Australia since 1 July 2024.

08

What can I do with marble offcuts?

Vanity tops, laundry benches, hearths, shelves, window sills, niches, and side or coffee tables. We cut and polish the piece to your size.

09

Can I come and look?

Yes. Our workshop is at Factory 4 / 15 Ramage St, Bayswater, weekdays 9 to 4. Email first with your size so we can pull out what suits.

Tell us the size you need

Email the length and depth you need and what it is for, or come to our Bayswater workshop, weekdays 9 to 4. We will tell you what we have that fits.

Pick your stone.

The stone decides half of the job. Each one has its own page: what it is like to live with, how we cut it, and the questions people search before they buy.
